Over 5+ years of violence and instability in the North-West and South-West regions of Cameroon has left many children orphaned and out of school in the region, with some fleeing to neighboring countries for refuge but with no prospects for a better future. With no urgent action from the Cameroon government, these children's right to education and a better future is at great risk.

Mwanafrika has taken the initiative to work with known refugee settlements outside of Cameroon's borders, assisting in setting up community-run learning centers with the sole purpose of ensuring that these children do not miss out further on their education.
